Tuesday 23 June – Wednesday 24 June, 2026
OT Exchange is Australia’s largest clinical conference for occupational therapists, bringing together real-world knowledge and approaches that strengthen everyday practice. Designed for the whole profession, it’s the must-attend event to connect, be inspired, and shape the future of occupational therapy together.
Venue and delegate information for OT Exchange 2026.
Any delegate or exhibitor who notified a specific allergy upon registration should identify themselves to a venue staff member at any of the catering stations.
Space will be limited so delegates are strongly encouraged to leave luggage at their hotel where possible.
If you require first aid assistance, please make yourself known to venue security or a BCEC staff member who will contact a First Aid officer.
It is essential delegates, exhibitors and visitors wear their official OTX 2026 name badge and lanyard at all times.
On arrival collect your name tag and lanyard from the registration desk.
For security purposes, all delegates and participants will be required to display their official OTX 2026 name badge attached to the official lanyard for admission to conference sessions, the exhibition hall, social functions and delegate catering areas.
The OTX 2026 Wellness Booth has been designed as a space for delegates to pause, recharge and prioritise wellbeing throughout the conference experience.
Featuring a range of wellness-focused activations and co-partnership opportunities, including a beauty touch-up station and comfortable informal seating, the space aims to create moments of relaxation and connection within the busy conference environment.
The OTX 2026 Reconciliation Space has been designed as a welcoming and reflective environment that centres connection with First Nations communities and reinforces Occupational Therapy Australia’s commitment to reconciliation.
Delegates are encouraged to visit the space throughout the conference to engage in conversation, reflection and shared learning, while exploring OTA’s ongoing reconciliation journey through interactive elements, visual storytelling and opportunities for connection.
BCEC has two Parents Rooms, featuring all you need to feed and change in privacy and comfort.
These are located on Merivale St main foyer, just behind Merivale Café and one on the Grey St main foyer near the Information Desk.
Change tables can be found in all unisex accessible toilets throughout the Centre.
Prayer rooms are available on the Mezzanine Level near M3 and M4 rooms.
The OT Exchange 2026 Sensory and Quiet Spaces have been designed to support delegate wellbeing, accessibility and inclusion throughout the conference.
These spaces provide attendees with an opportunity to step away from the busy conference environment to regulate, recharge and manage conference fatigue in a supportive setting.
The Alerting Regulation Space offers movement and sensory-based tools to support focus and engagement, while the Calming Regulation Space provides a low-stimulation environment for rest and decompression.
Delegates are encouraged to use these spaces as needed while maintaining a quiet and respectful shared environment.
All OTX 2026 presenters are required to check in at the Speaker Preparation Room located in M10.
It is mandatory that all presenters report to their presentation.
