From Ideas to Impact
OT Exchange is Australia’s largest clinical conference for occupational therapists, bringing together real-world knowledge and approaches that strengthen everyday practice. Designed for the whole profession, it’s the must-attend event to connect, be inspired, and shape the future of occupational therapy together.
We’re inviting submissions from clinicians, students, researchers, and exhibitors that showcase emerging or innovative practice, advancements in occupational therapy, or product and service innovations.
No matter how you want to contribute, through a traditional presentation, a quick-fire pitch, or as an exhibitor. We want to hear from you, select a presentation option below to find out more.
Presentation submissions can include, but is not limited to, submissions in the form of project briefs, practical applications of evidence-based practice, case studies, quality improvement activities, research findings, or stories and experiences. These submissions could be presented as an oral presentation, clinical conversation, workshop, occupation station or poster display.
To meet society's needs, occupational therapy must be able to influence the development of new and assistive technologies. In this dynamic and interactive session, we invite OTs to submit a proposal to pitch their ideas, concepts, and prototypes in a format designed to encourage discussion of and feedback on their products.

Works in partnership with parents, caregivers, and significant others to support the quality of life, safety, and participation performance of children and adolescents (0–18 years) with physical, developmental, sensory, genetic, and neurological disorders.
Approaches that support older people to experience positive ageing through initiatives that focus on promoting quality of life, enhance functional ability and address health and age-related changes that impact on engagement in meaningful occupation.
Actions that connect the “what we know” from the evidence, practice, and experience, with “what we do” to better integrate best evidence into clinical practice across a variety of contexts including academic research, community projects, quality improvement initiatives, student projects and participatory action research.
Novel and tailored approaches with assistive technology and environmental modifications that overcome barriers to participation in meaningful activities and enhance independence and quality of life.
