Occupational Therapy Australia is delighted to announce that world renowned occupational therapist, Dr. Tina Champagne, will be embarking on a multi-stop tour in Australia in June 2024. Tina will commence her tour with a Sensory Modulation and Trauma-Informed Care Masterclass in Perth, scheduled for the day before the OT Exchange. Due to limited availability, we encourage early registration for this event to secure your tickets and avoid disappointment. Registration can be secured at the same time as completing your OT Exchange 2024 registration.

Masterclass Registration Includes:

  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
  • Links to learning materials
  • One (1) hour drinks reception, following immediately after the Masterclass - hosted by Tina Champagne

Dr. Tina Champagne
OTD, OTD, OTR, FAOTA

Dr. Tina Champagne is the CEO of Cutchins Programs for Children and Families and an international consultant for Champagne Conferences & Consultation. She has specific expertise in the areas of trauma, attachment, sensory and trauma informed approaches, and organizational change. In 2003, she became the first OT to present with the U.S. National Office of Technical Assistance on sensory approaches, trauma informed care and restraint reduction, where her work became part of the Six Core Strategies.

She has numerous publications, including two books, numerous book chapters, continuing education and research articles, and she is a reviewer for OT and nursing journals. She has received many awards for her work including the 2023 Award of Merit, the highest honor from the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Please note:
  • Registration for Tina Champagne's Perth Masterclass is currently exclusive to delegates of the OT Exchange 2024. Registration for this Masterclass will become available as a stand-alone function at a later date.
  • Additional Tina Champagne events will also be held in Sydney and Melbourne with dates and locations to be released.
  • Tina Champagne will also present a keynote address at the OT Exchange 2024 which is separate to this Masterclass. The keynote address will be accessible to all full delegates and Thursday day delegates of OTX 2024.
