Airport transfers
Easy access is available from the airport to the city centre via bus and taxi. Please refer to the Melbourne Airport website for further information.

SkyBus
SkyBus offers a shuttle bus service from the airport to Melbourne CBD and city hotels. This service operates 24 hours, 7 days. Buses run every 10 minutes throughout the day and every 30-60 minutes overnight. Tickets can be purchased on arrival or online by visiting the SkyBus website.

Taxis
Taxis are available from the ground floor level of Melbourne Airport. The central business district is approximately 30 minutes from the International and Domestic Airport. A taxi costs approximately $50 $60. Taxi Phone: 13 22 27 or 131 008.

myki is the smart card ticketing system that has replaced Metcard in metropolitan Melbourne and paper tickets on buses in selected regional towns. It is an integrated system that works on trains, trams and buses.

You may purchase a ticket online in advance http://www.myki.com.au or for interstate and international guests, a myki explorer pack can be purchased from the PTV Hub at Southern Cross Station, the Melbourne Visitor Centre at Federation Square and the SkyBus terminals at Melbourne Airport and Southern Cross Station.
