Missed out attending the Virtual OT Exchange?
Registrations for On-Demand are now open!  

All participants are required to officially register to access the On-Demand recordings.  Please read the following information before completing an online registration.  All fees are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST (ABN 27 075 008).


On-Demand Registration Entitlements

The following entitlements are included in all full on-demand registration types: 

  • Access recorded presentations (excluding keynotes & workshops) until 16 October 2020

  • Browse and download enriching ePosters in the virtual ePoster Hall

  • Get moving before and after sessions with Yoga, Pilates and HIIT classes

  • Explore and discover the latest OT solutions from our innovative partners in the Virtual Exhibition Hall

  • Receive a virtual delegate bag, full of goodies like conference abstracts, exhibitor resources, vouchers and more

Description of Registration Categories


Eligibility for discounted registrations

  • MEMBER:  To qualify for a conference member rate, you must be a member of Occupational Therapy Australia, an International  Association that is a member of  WFOT, or another Allied Health Association at the time of registering and at the time of the conference.  Your membership status will be verified upon registration in order for you to retain the conference member rate.  Non-members who register at the conference member rate and have not purchased an OTA membership will be transferred to the non-member rate and invoiced for the difference.  For further information on joining as a member please visit the Occupational Therapy Australia website
  • NEW GRADUATE MEMBER: To qualify for a New Graduate rate, you must be (at the time of the Conference):
    • A graduate of an occupational therapy education program recognised by AHPRA and WFOT
    • Current and full registration as an occupational therapist with AHPRA
    • Must join within 12 months of course completion, and can be held for a maximum of two consecutive years.
  • STUDENT:  To qualify for  a student rate, you must be (at the time of the Conference):
    • Studying an undergraduate or masters entry level occupational  therapy education program recognised by AHPRA and WFOT and not yet graduated or
    • A full-time postgraduate  student of an occupational therapy program
    • Registered as a student with AHPRA

You will need to provide proof of student status in the form of copy of a student card or copy of current enrollment which can be uploaded during the online registration process, or emailed to otexchange@otaus.com.au once your online registration has been completed.




Payment and Cancellations

PAYMENT METHODS

Full payment of fees is required before registrations can be processed and confirmed.
From September 1 2020, online registrations will require a credit card payment at time of registration.

Visa, MasterCard and AMEX are accepted.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

CANCELLATION STATEMENT

Registration cancellations received in writing to Occupational Therapy Australia 10 days prior to the Virtual OT Exchange 2020 (Friday 4 September 2020) will receive a refund equivalent to 90% of the registration fee paid.

No refund will be given after Friday 4 September 2020 however, an alternative delegate name may be submitted.

All cancellations must be made in writing to the event organisers at OTexchange@otaus.com.au.

Processing time for refunds: Refunds (less applicable fees) will be processed no later than 30 days of the conclusion of the conference.

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION

All fully paid registrations are transferable to other persons from the same organisation. Transfers can be made by the registered person in writing to Occupational Therapy Australia at OTexchange@otaus.com.au no later than Tuesday 10 September 2020. Details must include the full name of the replacement person, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be carried over to the new person unless otherwise specified. Transfer of registrations to another person will include the registration, all associated social event tickets (including additional purchases) and accommodation bookings.

Should the new delegate not require an item previously booked by the original delegate, the cancellation and refund policy for the item cancelled will apply. 

NON-ATTENDANCE

No refund will be made for non-attendance at the Conference or networking events.

CANCELLATION OF THE VIRTUAL OT EXCHANGE 2020 BY OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AUSTRALIA

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Occupational Therapy Australia to alter the times, dates, itineraries or speakers of the Virtual OT Exchange by notice to you at any time. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference, the maximum liability of Occupational Therapy Australia is limited to a refund of the Virtual OT Exchange registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses whatsoever. In the unlikely event of cancellation or postponement of the conference due to circumstances beyond of Occupational Therapy Australia’s reasonable control including but not limited to, acts of terrorism, war, acts of God and natural disaster, Occupational Therapy Australia cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by registrants as a consequence of the event being postponed or cancelled.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that registrants take out insurance at the time of registration to include any eventuality including but not limited to loss of fees through cancellation of registrant's participation in the conference or through cancellation of the conference, strikes, loss or damages to personal property, force majeure or any other reason.

Liability

Registrants attend the conference at their own risk. Registrants agree not to hold Occupational Therapy Australia liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs, claims or liabilities suffered or incurred by registrants including consequential or indirect losses or loss of profit through registering for the conference, attending the conference, cancellation of the conference, failure of the conference to achieve your expectations, or for any error or omission by Occupational Therapy Australia. Registrants agree not to hold Occupational Therapy Australia liable or responsible for any personal injury (i.e. physical, psychological or emotional stress) or any loss or damage to personal property.
