However, the growing number of assistive technology (AT) options, complex funding systems, and administrative demands can limit valuable clinical time. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how OTs explore, compare, and prescribe AT, offering opportunities to streamline decision-making while preserving professional reasoning. Acting as a digital co-pilot, AI enables OTs to work smarter, not faster—enhancing, rather than replacing, therapeutic expertise.

This presentation will demonstrate how AI tools can support OTs across the AT assessment process. Real-world examples will show how AI assists with product exploration, feature comparison, and alignment with occupational goals.
