WELCOME

Occupational Therapy Australia invites you to participate in the inaugural National Paediatric Symposium 2018, taking place from 16-17 November 2018 at the SMC Function & Conference Centre, Sydney, New South Wales.

WHY ATTEND?

Are you currently working in paediatric practice, or are you interested in moving into this popular area of OT practice?  Perhaps you are a new graduate who has always dreamed about working in paediatrics?  Or are you an educator, researcher or manager who would like to update on the evidence, or gain an insight into wider issues affecting the area currently? Whether at the beginning, middle, or nearing the end of their professional careers, many OTs enjoy working with children, young people and families on their occupational and participatory goals. However, much has changed for therapists in paediatric practice over the past 5 years, including important updates to the evidence base supporting practice, and the introduction of the NDIS.  The National Paediatric Symposium provides key updates on evidence based practice, useful sessions on the current wider issues impacting paediatric practice, valuable networking opportunities and much, much more!
